I would say this hotel is the best hotel in Khulna. I work with an INGO and travel frequently to South western part of Bangladesh. I found this hotel as the best hotel in that region considering location, price, room decoration, restaurant, service, amenities and facilities. Most of time I stayed in Suits, separate bad room with a living room decorated by sofa and other furniture. Rooms are clean and spacious.
We usually take our dinner at the restaurant in Ground floor. I am fond of fish, so I eat a lot of them there. You can try Rupchada Fry or Masala Prawn there.

We booked this hotel through the hotel's own website.The cheaper non a/c room was not available so we booked the more expensive a/c room at TK1740 which is £15.40 per night with breakfast included.The rooms are large bright and clean with attached bathroom and shower with hot water.Towels provided ,satellite tv,fridge with mini bar(no alcohol),toothpaste,tooth brushes,soap,shampoo,toothpicks,tissues,cotton buds and daily newspaper provided free.The room had a small balcony and room service was offered each day.
The staff are friendly and helpful and English was spoken.We arranged a rented car through the front desk for a day trip to Bhagahat and around ,at a cost of TK3500 for a car and driver for a whole day, and they offered us information on trips we did by public transport .
The hotel restaurant had an extensive menu and this included plenty of vegetarian options.Importantly the dishes offered all seemed to be available and it was the best food we tasted in Bangladesh at a fair price with good portions.
The hotel offered free internet use in the business suite.Same day cheap laundry service.
A notice in the room asked us not to tip individuals as we are charged a service charge.

I stayed at the Western Inn for three nights. Really nice hotel, especially considering how cheap it is.

The rooms have wi-fi and AC, the restaurant is decent and the staff is nice. They were able to organize trips for me to neighboring villages.

I arrived for a four day stay and my room stank of mothballs.
My room was changed immediately.The rooms though not luxurious were fine
.The food in the restaurant was top class I didn't want to eat anywhere else.
Staff and management were attentive and fun

Actually this place was a positive surprise (at least the suite we had). Rooms are clean enough and spacious. Staff is friendly although service was a bit bizarre. Complimentary breakfast was OK. Considering where this hotel is located I would rate it excellent but in comparison to other hotels in the world it's average.
